[lca2018-chat] Time in lieu for public holiday?

The way it was put tp me, I asked to go to the conf, so Friday doesn't
count as work. Unless your employer sent you to the conference, without the
choice of giving you the public holiday off, I'm not sure there's much of a
case for TIL.
